Why the factory shifter falls short.
The stock gear stick in a 70 Series, 80 Series or N70 Hilux sits low. On long touring runs or daily commutes that adds up to constant reaching, a fatiguing position that was never really designed with comfort in mind.
This extension threads straight onto your existing shifter and raises it 50 mm, bringing the knob up to a more natural hand position without altering the look or feel of the interior. No cutting, no drilling, no permanent changes to your vehicle.
CNC machined here in Australia from 6061 aluminium and hard anodised in black, it matches the factory stalk finish closely and holds up to the heat and wear of daily use and off-road touring alike.

CNC MACHINED 6061 ALUMINIUM
Precision machined locally from 6061 aluminium billet. Strong, lightweight and dimensionally consistent so the thread engagement is solid every time.
BLACK ANODISED FINISH
Hard anodised in black to closely match the appearance of the factory gear stalk. It sits in the interior without looking like an aftermarket add-on.
NO MODIFICATIONS NEEDED
Threads directly onto the M12 x 1.25 factory shifter thread. Installs in seconds with basic tools and removes just as easily, leaving nothing permanent behind.

REMOVE THE GEAR KNOB
Unscrew or pull off your existing gear knob according to your vehicle's factory method. Set it aside if you plan to reuse it.
THREAD ON THE EXTENSION
Thread the extension onto the exposed M12 x 1.25 gear stick thread and tighten firmly by hand. Ensure it is seated flush and straight.
REFIT THE GEAR KNOB
Refit your factory or aftermarket gear knob onto the extension thread. Check for any play and confirm the fitment is solid before driving.
